BRONX NIGHT MARKET RETURNS TO THE GRAND CONCOURSE WITH TWO FLAGSHIP FESTIVALS IN 2026

Bronx, NY — Bronx Night Market will return to the Grand Concourse on May 9, 2026, and October 10, 2026, with two large-scale flagship festivals designed to anchor the borough’s food and culture calendar. Each edition is projected to welcome up to 10,000 attendees, doubling the prior season's average of approximately 5,000 guests per event.

The 2026 format shifts from a long seasonal run to two concentrated, high-volume events built for scale, vendor revenue, and measurable corridor impact. Each festival will feature 50 curated food vendors and 20 Bronx-based community organizations.

The vendor lineup will represent Dominican, Puerto Rican, Caribbean, Jamaican, Asian, American, and broader global cuisines, highlighting both established Bronx operators and select heavy hitters from across New York City and the tri-state area.

Programming will include emerging and established musicians, local arts performances, youth showcases, food competitions, and audience-driven activations designed for participation, not passive viewing.

The return is being coordinated in collaboration with the Bronx 161st Street BID and with outreach to Bronx Borough President Vanessa L. Gibson, Council Member Althea Stevens, and Bronx Community Board leadership to ensure alignment with corridor priorities and community standards.

“Bronx Night Market started as proof that this borough can build its own main stage,” said Marco Shalma, Founder of Bronx Night Market and We Eat Here. “In 2026, we are bringing it back to the Concourse with two dates that feel inevitable. Fifty vendors. Twenty community groups. Ten thousand people each edition. The Bronx eats here.”

Bronx Night Market is produced by We Eat Here, a New York–based food and culture media and events company founded by Marco Shalma. Through live festivals, editorial platforms, and strategic partnerships, We Eat Here builds scalable cultural platforms that elevate local entrepreneurs and drive measurable neighborhood impact.

Vendor applications and sponsorship opportunities will open in the coming weeks.
